Our experienced instructors offer maximum safety and support you whereever you need it. During our lessons we use the new seasonal equipment from Duotone and Fanatic.

1. Preparation

Before you can get started practically, you should first learn some basics. These include:

Understanding of the Wind
Get to know the Gear
Setting & Transport of the equipment
Safety Rules

2. Learn to control your Wing

Now we start with the practice. That means you will learn how to steer and control the wing to catch the wind and generate power. In the beginning we will make sure that it is not too windy, so that you can slowly and safely get used to the wing without the risk of damaging your equipment or injuring yourself.

3. Your first Take-off – Get up on your Board

You have everything under control? Now you can deepen your handling of the wing while making your first meters on the board. The Wing take-off is not very complicated but requires the right approach. We will practice on a large surfboard or stand up paddle board. The first step consist in getting on your knees on the board and getting used to having the wing in your hands. To go to the second step you need to have accumulated enough speed with the wind. Once the speed reached, you can position your front foot on the center of the board. This allows you to stand up in two steps which is a lot easier. You will learn how to stabilise yourself, how to follow the wind, how to generate speed and how to control your speed.

3. Steering & Interaction of Wing and Board

4. Tips & Tricks and perform a Turn

Now that you know how to take off and glide you need to know how to turn to return to your starting point. There are different ways to make a turn with a Wing: you can jibe with your back to the wind or turn into the wind using your accumulated speed or use the swell to make a turn while surfing. Moreover, we will show you some tips and tricks so that unwanted situations do not present you with a challenge. This means that you will learn how to turn your wing in the water or in the air, or how to avoid that the ends of the wing dipping into the water during the ride and pulling it down.

5. The Wingfoilboard

For wingsnowboarding, -skiing or -skateboarding, you can now practice on your own! For wingfoiling, now it’s time for a introduction to foiling and to start your first attempts on a foil board. We learn how the foil board lifts up, how to have a good foot placement and a perfect body position. For example, transferring the weight to the back leg raises the foil and transferring it back to the front leg lowers the foil.
